BluesFest 2016: Day One In Pictures

The UK's biggest blues festival got off to a spectacular start last night at London's O2 with even more to come. 

The Queen of hearts Mary J. Blige and neo-soul legend Maxwell brought the house down in the Main Arena at The O2.



Over at The Indigo at The O2, Bill Wyman celebrated his 80th birthday with performances from Robert Plant, Mark Knopfler, Mick Hucknall, Bob Geldof, Imelda May, Steven Van Zandt, Hollie Stephenson and many more.

Bill was also presented with the BluesFest Lifetime Achievement Award!


Over at The Brooklyn Bowl, we had the pleasure of watching Darrel Higham, JD & The Straight Shot & Big Boy Bloater.




Day 2 at BluesFest promises to be another memorable night.
