Musical legends Van Morrison and Jeff Beck are joining forces to close BluesFest in partnership with American Express® with an exclusive double bill concert.
Music visionary Van Morrison is no stranger to the festival, having teamed up with Tom Jones for last year’s event. This time, he’s joined by UK guitar legend Jeff Beck for what is sure to be a masterclass in blues and soul.
The pair join a stellar line-up for BluesFest 2016, which includes a spectacular double-bill featuring blues luminary Walter Trout and UK blues-rock outfit The Temperance Movement, the first London show in six years from Paul Rodgers’ rock supergroup Bad Company featuring special guest US guitarist and Bon Jovi collaborator Richie Sambora, and a special one-off Bill Wyman 80th birthday concert featuring Bill Wyman himself plus his very special guests Bob Geldof, Mark Knopfler, Imelda May and Mick Hucknall.
Taking place from October 28th – 30th, this year’s festival will run in association with American Express, utilizing all areas of The O2 complex including the 20000-capacity Arena, indigo at The O2 and Brooklyn Bowl to present what is fast becoming one of the most popular blues, soul and roots festivals in the world.
